I first made this satchel-sized art journal for a friend of my mums to travel with.
It is about 5.5″ square and filled with paper that loves both dry media and light watercolour.
They have proven popular since then with people who want to sketch as they travel, paint in the park, on the train, or even on the steps of Flinders Street Station in Melbourne [yes, Michael, that’s you!] whilst watching the interesting people and daily life pass by.
I’ve been making and selling them in pairs, since it seems most people want them in pairs (often to share with a travel companion). These ones are available now at the Etsy store. See my SHOP tab.
Thanks go to Marg, whose idea it was to make the smaller size.
